I might just be the transmission oil pan that has a leak not the whole gearbox. I've no idea what shop would be good. How was the drive feeling before/after you noticed it? Smooth shifts?

Shifts smooth, i actually i just took it out for a spin. I really couldnt tell the difference how it shifts before i noticed the leak earlier today and the last time i drove it. Hopefully its just the pan gasket. Any idea how much it is to get the pan repaired? I would really like to bring it to LTBMW down in LA but i moved here on norcal, and the last time i took my old e36 m3 to local shop here in sacrameto they charged me 1800 to get my head gasket fixed

I've got no clue man, I haven't had any major issues like that and luckily the warranty is still good for another 21k.

Red is the power steering fluid. I know because I popped a hose a few weeks ago and had the stuff all over my garage floor.
