Full cattless muffler delete with 1792 vibrant res

Omg it is loud. I don't really understand why so many people do this. The rasp at about 3000 is some of the worst I've ever heard. Anybody else have this horrid rasp?

Sorry haha that was a useless post. But I'm running only an x-pipe straight back, if it's too loud then I'll add resonators later but as of now I want to see how it sounds.

oh its loud lol....and raspy. Might not be as bad though because you're going ss right?

I have catless downpipes and the HPF gen 2. Sounds good to me!

It probably does sound good its just the rasp is something to get use to. Just got the setup today so really haven't driven if much. In sure it will grow on me

i have the same setup and there isnt any rasp until you hit 5000+rpm and it's a mean rasp, not the annoying honda rasp

How bad is the rasp? I did a resonator delete and muffler delete and it sounded like a civic straight piped, but then I put in an Xpipe and it made it less raspy.

I actually changed maps on my car and with the different furling characteristics it changed the exhaust sound alot. Now I understand y people do this. It sound really good. Still pretty loud tho

It's pretty crazy how much different the sound is between different maps. I actually hate rasp as well and always tweak my setups to get rid of it.

The vibrants seem to usually do a very good job at cleaning up the rasp unless there's something like a slightly loose bolt or some metal on metal contact causing the rasp.

What map did your setup sound cleanest with?

I noticed a difference in rasp with different downpipes as well based on materials/thickness.

I find it sounds better on aggressive stg3 9-10 than auto tune maps for sure
