What a dramatic day!

Last week I leaved my car in bimmersport to install the 3 stage IM, catless headers and get the AA tune updated. Today, Jonny told me my car is ready. Very exciting! Drove 30km to there with my gf and OMG the car sounds amazing! Can't wait to clear the payment and jump into the car. Engine start! putting into S gear! Here we go!!!!

Sounds like your waterpump took a crap. Just a coincidence it happened that day.

At least you're at the shop already? hope you get it sorted out man, and then you can persuade me to get all that on my car too lol, minus the water pump failure.

Lol. He doesn't need to. Just hop over to the N52 section and there will be plenty of people giving reasons why you should not to mention locals like Desi4Life10 and Andrey_gta swear by the 3stg + tune.

If you really loved your car you'd do it. :P For the record these are on my todo list so I'm not being a hypocrite haha.

Yea I agree this is the best bang for your buck mod for N52 engine platforms. Better if you can find the kit used (or even partial bits and pieces).

Luckly I was just 50 meters away from the shop, if it happened on highway...oh shit...

The shop told me they can fix it on next Monday so I guess I don't need to be too nervous.

Yes they did. One guy tested it in front of me, seems no problem. But now when I recall it, the car sounded a lot quite when the guy came back.

Yes, but since I have so much mods on the car, they will void my warranty I guess.

I don't know when I will do the dyno yet. All I saw were 2wd dynos. Mine is a xdrive. Might need to do some research first

But the mods you have done would have to directly affect the part that malfunctioned for them to deny the claim....it's better to try than not? In vancouver we have a lot of SA's that are mod friendly and still do the warranty work.

Finally got my car back, most lucky thing is my water pump isn't dead, its the tune caused all the problem. bimmersport used the factory map and everything is fine. They promise me that they will re-tune it with no additional charge, sounds good! Tmr I'll go to dealership for the battery recall, hopefully I can get everything done before the weekend.
