Im about to replace my suspension but im having the hardest time finding the parts for awd applications,
i was looking as the koni fsd pro kit from bavarian but it doesnt say it necessarily works for a XI
is anyone able to give me some advice,
also before its presented i cant currently afford coilovers so those are out.

Hey, unfortunately there are not many options without compromising ride quality, your best bet would be coilovers, that being said and as you stated earlier that is not an option, i think your best bet would be some koni yellows and Eibach pro kit or the H&R sports. Both will lower your car, but the H&R is defiantly a lower drop. I also would not suggest running lowering springs on stock shocks as the ride is Alot more hash than stock.

Heres a thread with some pics of lowerd xi's http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=493976

and a semi local shop (turner motorsports) that carries H&R and could give you more advice if you call them

hope this helped goodluck,
oh and if your looking for a good price with install if you buy the parts PM dave hes in the newenglad forums area he has done prob a few hundered installs here.

I have KW V1 coilovers and absolutely love them. I run an 18" wheel with a 40 series tire and do not have rubbing issues.

KW V1 or V3 if you can afford it.

Garage List
Also Koni Yellow (adjustable), primarily in conjunction with lowering springs, or KW Street Comfort coilovers. Also, I think Bilstein does have xDrive specific products as well.
