Head Unit Code (again I'm afraid)
Hi All
I'm new to the forum, and after extensive reading am still not sure about the requirement to recode my head unit to fit an amplifier, I cant really afford to go the DSP route at this point. I have a 2010 320i (e90) with S644A HANDY VORB. MIT BLUETOOTH-SCHNITTS. Preparation f mobile phone w Bluetooth S663A RADIO BMW PROFESSIONAL Radio BMW Professional S694A CD-WECHSLER VORBEREITUNG Provisions for BMW 6 CD changer The head unit looks like this.... When I look in the hidden Menu at the DSP settings I see this.... According to the various posts I've seen DSP = 0 means no DSP installed. Does this mean that this head unit is one of the ones that can't be recoded? and does anyone know if the output is actually equalised or not. |

Most of the E9X 3 series come with standard base system. So no DSP means you have standard headunit.
BMW headunits are very flexible as you can code same HU to hi-fi or L7 HU.
