1. Cobb AP
2. BMS DCI (bc it's inexpensive)
3. Charge pipe w/ BOV (I'm going with ER Charge Pipe w/ Forge DVs personally) << this is a weak point when you increase boost and from reading this thread I think you really want the whoosh sound anyway. Kill 2 birds with one stone.
4. Intercooler

What do you guys think is a good install rate on an intercooler? I plan on buying a BMS DCI today as well.
I paid 125 to have my 5" installed, the 7" would prolly be a bit more as it requires some trimming. 5" should be plenty but its up to you. I think the 7" one is bigger vertically than the 5" so if you want the big IC look the 7" might be better. When i bought mine I thought the 7" was just bigger front to back or I would of bought the bigger one. Looking at this thread http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=859088 the 7" looks bigger vertically then my 5" does.

Is the Charge pipe with BOV really worth doing before the intercooler? What do you recommend Active Autowerke or Forge DV's? I was considering Forge DV's. I really love the sound of both.

What do you guys think about a cheaper FMIC such as
http://www.topgearsolutions.com/vr7frmoinfmk.html

with the Active Autowerke BOV.

Eventually I want to do the JB4 so if it makes more sense to just do an intercooler rather then spend $340 on the aFe intake why not.
it seems the same of spearco FMIC no ?

I don't know what the Spearco looks like but, I think I'm just gonna go with the Active Autowerkve BOV or the Forge DV's... I'm sticking with the 7" VRSF...

I'm worried about my stock charge pipe braking due to increased boost from my Cobb AP. I read on these forums a ton about stock charge pipes breaking due to increasing boost. That's why I'm ordering mine this week. FMIC will follow and I too will be going with VRSF 7''.

AA stuff I'm sure is great, I hear about it all the time. I'm going with the Forge DVs because I pretty much want a better version of what is in the car stock, I haven't heard the sound but I'm hoping it's not loud. Had an STi for a while and I got sick of the BOV.

Ah damn man I love the sound! Forge sounds pretty nice but is definitely a little lighter then AA in my opinion.

Hmmm maybe I'll go BOV and FMIC combined and just save up. I might as well get them both installed at the same time... looking at a $1300ish dollar job....

$565 AA BOV Kit
$450 VRSF 7" FMIC
$200-300 Install

The BOV you choose is up to you. We recommend the Tial.

We have a laundry list of intercoolers. The most popular are the ETS and VRSF lately.

If you need any more help I've owned this car myself and we only sell parts that we would put on our personal cars and I'm very familiar with them and this platform.
