Is ABT still the best place to get car audio installations done in the Chicago area? If so, which location is better? Can they do stuff like relocate the headunit to the trunk, etc?

ABT are too expensive, in my previous X5 I put double din in one guy in Wheeling but he did poor job, it is hard to find reputable shop that is doing car audio installation right

I normally take my bimmer to Rays. (radar hardwiring etc). They have 2 locations but the Bloomingdale location is better for BMW.

how much does rays charge on average? I want to get the front and underseat subs done with an amp..... maybe a headunit (not sure)

Till about a year ago I worked at ABT for over 14 years and if I was getting something done I would 100% go there. I'm sure there are other places that are great however ABT will give you good pricing and their customer service is unbeatable. Good luck.

Abt only has the Glenview location. Great place to get car stereo installed.

there's an audio shop in schaumburg thats good. forgot the name but search and you should find it.

Probably don't need it anymore, but for future reference Mobile Concepts in Orland Park does good work.
