Side reflector installation tape?

I am about to remove my side reflectors to get a nice clean wrap around it, but I was wondering if I can just use the 3M double sided tape to redo it? It seems a bit thick and I don't want the side reflector to be recessed too much into the bumper.

Or can I just stick it back on with the original double sided tape that is still on the reflectors if I heat it up again with a heatgun?

I just wrap over mine. Unless you want them showing. Then, yes, you can put new 3m on the back.
