Why are users dumping their Cobb units ? The new version does the same thing right. the only aspect thats different is the bigger screen and gauges ??

They were one of the only flash tunes that you could flash yourself. Now shiv has released the open flash tablet and there is another flash about to come out that uses the bavarian technic cable and free software. So between those 2 and the new v3 about to be released a lot of users have sold their AP's

A lot of people are trying to sell for more than the trade in value ($447.50) while they can so they can upgrade to the V3. The V3 allows you to view up to 6 different monitoring preferences at once where the V2 only allows you to view one. That's the main upgrade IMO.

This. i was thinking about selling it for about 600 then upgrading to v3 rather then doing the trade in, but in the end i dont use the live monitoring enough to want to pay $300 for two extra guages.

At the end of the day they both have the same Off the shelf maps. If you are one to just plug in the cobb once and load up the tune and drive the V3 is not worth the extra expense (IMO unbiased).

Save yourself some coin if you dont need the bells and whistles and grab the V2 while supplies last. We are dumping all current inventory below our normal cost.

If you want all the bells and whistles and the flashy looks of the V3 then you know what to do. On paper the V3 is a bigger screen, higher resolution, faster processing speed, and bunch of other things listed in the "highlights section" of the description.

personally went down and checked out the v3 .cant see why anyone would pay the extra money for it.

Much fast processor, bigger screen, multi gauge support to be used as a dash gauge.

Its easier said till you start seeing the plate of a protune gradually get smaller and smaller as it pulls from you. Anyhow, its a matter of time before we see some track time or roll races caught on HD

its pretty cool much better looking and feels more solid but I sat there and played around with it for probably 20 min after that i said to myself why ? gauges weren't that cool pretty damn small even when you displayed only 2 at a time . but to each there own if i was looking at a cobb definitely wait for the new version otherwise just not worth the money .150.00 upgrade maybe 400.00 + no way
