I drive an E90 320i M Sport. I came back to my car today and when I used my key fob the lights flashed but the car didnt open. So I used the small key inside the fob and opened the drivers door. When I was inside I realised that the other doors had opened but they would not close using the fob or the button on the dash. The car started fine, so I drove home and I checked the fuses for the central locking. I think it was fuse 57 had blown so I changed it using one of the spares and the locks started working again.
I read up on this and it seems like this is a common problem on the e90. I'm now considering changing the 15amp fuse to a 20amp Following recommendations from people on this forum. But has anybody else have this problem
With the fuse blowing? Did you experience any further problems? Or did changing the fuse sort this for you?
From reading other posts it seems that this could be a quick temporary fix as it could be a problem with something in the lock mechanism.
