Hi

I own a 2011 E90 318i with 205/55/16 stock.

I am going for 18inch but I need some help in terms of width.

What do you guys think of this set up, 245/40/18 all around on a 18x10?

I am not too sure what fits it terms of width, 18x9? 18x10? 18x10.5 and what will look the most solid. I've seen some really whacked setup.

First i have to say you have good idea of starting point. All of these would fit to front 18x9, 9.5, 10.
If you want 18x10 square i would suggest 245/35/18 and you need front offset about 25 to clear inside. Here are some of my suggestion to other member with Lci E90.

It would take some work to get a 10" wheel up front. If you want to do a staggered setup you could do 9.5 et30-33 up front with a 235/40/18 and 11 et33-38 in the rear with a 265/35/18. All you would need to do is roll the rear fenders. You should try to decide on what type of wheels your looking to get and then see what sizes are available. Unless your getting custom wheels and can pick the sizes and offset.

The white 318 on the bottom of the thread, I like how his 18inch sits just right with the car. Is the car lowered at all? I don't know

I guess those rims are 18x9 square? sitting on 245 / 35 / 18. Really taking a wild guess here.

Those are style 193 painted gunmetal or something color. Specs are 18x8 et34 front and 18x8.5 et37 rear. I'm pretty sure that car has stock m-sport suspension.

It doesn't look like that car is lowered.

So your wanting the wheels to be flush? In the front I think your best option is 9.5 et33 with a 235/40/18. No fender rolling, no rubbing and it'll be flush. I the rear you could fit a 9.5, 10, 10.5 or even 11" and it'll be flush depending on the offset. You will need to roll the rear fenders if you want a flush fitment.

He has a prelci e90 so there is a little more room in the rear. This fitment is about the same as 11 et40 on an lci e90, but et33 could be done even on an lci just a little more work.
