Fitment noob here. Help me out

Bought LMs 18x9 for my 09 e92 x drive. What size tires should I get. I want them to sit correct, not overlapping not stretching. I've heard 235,240,245/40/18 someone even told me 255, even I know that's too wide. And will the stock tpms fit on that rim.

Thanks in advance

What offset? I'm going to say 235/40/18 front and rear.

This is my 235/40/18 on 9.5, so with your wheels it wouldn't be as "stretched."

If I'm not mistaken the offset is 40.
Any info about the tpms?

Then 235/40/18 will work just fine. Also 9 wide with et40 is very close to shocks inside at front. My 9.5 et35 had about 2mm clearance and that 9 et40 would be about 3mm clearance.

Sorry don't know anything about tpms. I don't have those.

The inside clearance could be increased with spacers right?

235/40/18 for sure. Wider options could start rubbing on things.

I kinda expected that. Wheel fits, but that size tyre doesn't. Did you buy 10mm thick? At least you got quality H&R spacers. I have set of those and i know those are not that cheap.

15 mm front only. Looks funny for now but I got 20 mm spacers coming in for the back.
