Throttle Buddy cleaning

Hello i have 2008 335i E90 and i want to clean my Throttle boddy, so my question is if i start cleaning it can it go bad also do they need to be restarted after cleaning ,also what should i clean it with .Thanks

I wouldn't bother. Intake port cleaning is necessary, not throttle body.

The things that fail in our Throttle bodies are the electronics. If you can determine what actually fails (electric motor?) then maybe it could be rebuilt.
