Completed first detail on the e90!

I'm sure many of you are familiar with Adam's Polishes out of Boulder, Colorado. Well, I am lucky enough to live only a few minutes from the AP HQ, not to mention I live just a few houses away from Dylan himself! Both Dylan and Chris (Mook) of Adam’s are very good friends of mine, so, this past week/weekend, I asked both of them to take some time to work on my paint!

It started with Dylan coming over to do some testing on a small section of my hood with a rotary and the new Paint Correcting Polish system from Adam's. I have never used a rotary before, as I stick to the FLEX 3401, so it was great to see this in person - and on MY car!! (well, the wife's car...)

Bright and early Saturday morning, I met up with Mook at his shop, so that he and I could finish what was started!

We completed exterior clay on the entire car, dressed everything with SVRT and got down to business using Adam's Correcting Polish/Orange pad and Adam's Finish Polish/White pad combos.

Mook did the heavy lifting with the correcting passes and I did my best to keep up/follow him with the finishing work. By the time I caught up to where he had been, he was right behind me with panel wipe downs and Adam's quick sealant (Holy #@#$ he works fast!)

We would have loved to spend more time correcting, as that ceramic clear coat is tough, but overall were pleased with the results. Besides, Dylan’s 48th birthday/beer tour was much more appealing than correcting ceramic clear coat! .. .. or maybe it was 33..

Anyways, I didn’t get any worthwhile before pictures, mainly because I was lazy and well, getting good pictures was proving difficult with this alpine white paint

Hope you like the results/pics:

dirty in this pic, but new painted reflectors installed:
