Warranty about to expire - what should I press for...

Evening folks. My 3rd party warranty is due to expire by 2014, and I want to take advantage of it; I have yet to use it since I bought my beemer early 2012. Was hoping to get my water pump replaced, possibly have them look at valve cover leaking, oil pan leaking. I am at 65k miles, and am probably due for something to break (knock on wood, fuuu, no wood near me). Anyhow, anything else I should take a look at, or have them look at?

Thanks

Any wastegate rattle that would warrant the turbos to be checked?

I do, but I will have that replaced by the dealer under warranty after I remove mods, and before 80k miles. I won't ask for that from my 3rd party warranty.

Thanks. Walnut blasted with a friend about 10k miles ago. I'm now trying to figure out how I can force some of these components to be replaced under warranty without them failing. Any suggestions?..if even possible..

Oil leaks, smoke, misfires, visual wear on belts.

Not sure, my warranty company refused to do my valve cover, oil filter gasket & when they did cover the water pump, they didn't cover the thermostat.

You said it yourself, why fix it if it's not broke?

Just as an FYI.... most of those aftermarket warranty companies want some kind of hard evidence before covering repairs. They usually ask the Service Advisor for fault codes, and sometimes send out an inspector if the claim is high enough.

Unless you have a Tech and SA that are willing to twist the facts for you, I'm not sure what options you have. If there is actually something wrong with your car, that's a different story.
