MMW CS Muffler with Resonator Delete VS. BMW Performance exhaust
Exhaust Review:
MMW CS Muffler with Resonator Delete vs. BMW Performance exhaust Listen to the MMW CS Exhaust Here I have sampled both the MMW CS Muffler with the resonator delete and the BMW Performance exhaust on the same car. So I truly know the difference. The MMW CS Muffler was created by MMW by using a stock E90 muffler and removing the internal baffles and re-welding the interior to match the BMW Performance Exhaust. At idle the two exhausts sound very similar. Under medium load the BMW Performance exhaust has a nice growl, where the MMW has a nice deep tone. At High RPM the MMW has a really nice subtle raspy sound that the BMW Performance Exhaust seems to be missing. My conclusion: The BMW Performance exhausts growls under any rpm or load, with no drone. The MMW really shines under full acceleration mid-high rpm with that subtle rasp sound, with no drone. Both are good! I wish I could install an on off switch and keep both. Most likely will be selling the MMW CS Muffler and mid pipes soon. But then again I may sell the BMW Performance Exhaust, though it was just installed. Stay tuned…

Thanks for this! Been hoping to come across this exact comparison as I have been contemplating doing the same thing to my stock muffler to try and get a similar sound at a price I can better justify to myself haha.
