CPO purchase 'extras'

Hi All,

Finally found "my" 335i.

Going in tomorrow to finalize the deal.

There are a couple things I wanted included when I purchased the vehicle, but wanted to make sure that I wasn't asking for too much...

2011 335i xDrive, ~40,000 mi.

- The rotors appear rusty. I know this is a vanity thing, but I feel that this is something they should have touched up... can I ask them to remove the rust?

- I'd like to request that cold weather mats be included

- Also maybe ask for a roof rack at dealer cost?

Thanks for any feedback. Very excited to step into my dream machine.

I'm not sure but I think they'd get the rust off for you to make the sale. I think cold weather mats is no problem, my sales associate threw it in no problem when I asked him on the day of pick up. Don't know about the roof rack but you can always try.

Well, as a quick update... they weren't gonna budge much on the price. Was able to knock them down about $1000. They also said they would take a wire brush to the rotors, etc.

Picking it up tomorrow.

Purchased from BMW Mt. Kisco.

How about the other stuff you were asking about like roof rack and weather mats?

No go on the roof rack. To be honest in the heat of the moment I forgot to ask about the mats. Fudge. It was hard enough to get them agree to take a wire brush to the rotors.

When I go to pick up tomorrow, I'll ask if they could throw them in (I've only put down the deposit). Hopefully they won't laugh in my face :-/

They'll probably throw it in, I asked my sales rep for it last minute before they handed over the keys to me and he got them for me no problem. Good luck with the new car!
