I recently met someone who owns his own garage. I teach tennis, and I met him because he takes lessons at the club I teach at. He is the owner of a Sunoco gas station that also has a garage attached to it.

I asked him if he was able to work on newer BMW's and his shop and he said yes. He said he has the most up to date scanners and has worked on many German cars. He drives a Mercedes. So I might have really lucked out here. Knowing someone who owns a garage and is capable of working on my BMW would certainly give me trust in who is working on my car and also save me some bucks. Do you guys think when general stuff goes wrong with our cars, that a small place like this would be able to work on our cars?
