So it's that time of the year again. Electric Daisy Carnival is coming back to Orlando on November 8th and 9th. Tickets will be released August 1st, 2013 @ 1pm. Get your tickets and book your homes! Roll call?

As far as lineups go, there has been no announcement but a few artists show open slots for those days meaning there is a possibility they will be performing.

I just can't believe ULTRA made their event a "Luxury Festival". I'm sorry but for less than a ticket of Ultra I can do EDC and stay in Orlando a few days to go to the parks.

Really hoping everyone who isn't attending ultra buys out EDC.

My honest opinion...by the tickets tomorrow and resell if you do not like the lineup. Early birds are believed to be $100

Picked up my ticket yesterday after like 10 minutes trying to get through....only got 1 FML. Whatever, it was $144 with all fees

Tickets are priced in tiers. As a tier sells out, the price will go up

So we are 3 weeks till EDC and not a single artist has been released. Dash Berlin has set EDC to their calendar so looks like they are in but other than that, I have not been able to find anything else. To be honest, I'm disappointed in Insomniac. They get worse every single year in regards to lineups. I will keep everyone posted in regards to it.

Festivals in general are getting to be a bit ridiculous. A bunch of candy kid ravers waiting for 'the drop'. I feel like its becoming more about being seen there/rolling face/doing whatever other drug they have and then posting about it on social media rather than going to watch a good performance, dance, listen to music and have fun.

I'd much rather go to a smaller venue to watch a good artist or just go to a good local event. The stuff that the guys at Boiler Room are doing is much more my speed.

Maybe thats just me being a salty old guy whos been around the scene too long haha..

I'm with you all the way but I enjoy festivals because it's a mini vacation to me. Unfortunately, it's all about the drugs these days and there is nothing we can do. I can admit I have done my share but for a festival, much rather drink. Going to be in LA for Halloween so I'm gonna go see Myon & Shane 54 which should be great as well as 1 day of HARD: Day of the dead. Ultra has become a cluster f**k of children on drugs running around. Some guy was snorting black tar heroin next to me like nothing. They need to put a 21+ age limitation for festivals. Ultra just cares about the money so age doesn't matter for them.

Dam, not bad. We rented a house about 35min away. Bit of a travel but whatever. I prefer to be able to make noise and have our own place than stay in a hotel. Regardless, it's cheaper for us since we are a big group
