General Q RE: Code Readers
I tried a search and did not find a direct answer to this question. I apologize in advance if this is already answered somewhere else...
Can a store bought code reader tell me individual cylinder temperatures? Also if you were planning to run a track day (road course, not drag) how would you safely attach the code reader in the car so you could take measurements? Finally...which brand of code reader do you recommend? Thanks.

For an inexpensive code reader along with data logging capabilities, I have used the http://www.obd-2.com software. This is PC based software but provides significantly more capability than a generic code reader; although it performs this function.
