Lexus RC Coupe

Just saw this released in Tokyo:

Will be offered in 3.5 v6 (probably the one used in their 350 models) and a 2.5l hybrid trim. Car looks nice, very nice styling I personally like it much better than the new IS. Some more info here: http://www.acquiremag.com/cars/sport...s-rc-coupe.php What you guys think? Lexus really stepping up with this in the design department. I just hope it doesn't drive like a Camry.

I like the interior but the exterior looks odd.

If it's rear drive i'm betting it's based on the GT/BRZ platform.

It's the coupe version of the IS so it would have to be larger than the GT/BRZ. I also don't think the 350 engine would fit under the hood of the GT/BRZ.

It definitely seems similar to the FRS/BRZ platform but I can already tell by just looking at those photos that it is larger. My brother has a BRZ as a daily and that thing is small.

I hate those new headlights. But the interior and the rear look good.

Also being Lexus, that thing will last.

yuuup, 11+ years with the es300 and everything (even the minor electronics) works like new. only unexpected repair so far has been a faulty starter.

bmw is better when it's working properly but lexus wins as a dd/beater

Yeah definitely check out the thread I made in non-BMW (KingofJericho posted it above). It has a lot more pics. I'll post just a few here for convenience.
