Buying new car need some advice

By the end of November I should be buying a new car.. I've got $8000-$10,000 as a downpayment and then will be able to afford $800 amonth there after.... I'd prefer to pay a little less but this is just my limit...

The vehicles I have in mind are:

- BMW 335 E92
- Range Rover HSE/Vogue (used)
- Jeep Cherokee SRT8

If you guys can think of anything else plz let me know... and plz give me your best opinions on the 3 stated above.. I love jeeps, but the reason the 335 caught my eye is because it looks pimp and has twin tubros

range is nice, but check their reliability, there's at the bottom in that department....srt8 looks nice, but i would still go for 335

I think that BMW E92 it is the best. I have an E46 for the moment(not enough money to change it). I think u should chose the BMW...but because u are so young and u do not so much experience.... u should buy a less powerful model....smaller engine....and it is also much chipper!!!! It is just an opinion!!!
PS: Please excuse my "broken english"

you're on a BMW forum, E9x platform to be more specific, asking forum members' opinion on E92, a range rover and a Jeep....

I wonder what the response is going to be like.... I wonder

thats one thing i had kept in mind... mr bro had just bought one but touching wood so far so good.. if i got it, id buy a full extended warranty, and i do plan on keeping away from the supercharged ranges

I've thought about this too...ive driven some powerful cars before, but with the well know stability of the 335 i think i should be able to handle it... and i know im graduating uni soon but im 24 this month... Late bloomer, wasn't my fault

Resale, maintenance, gas mileage, respectability for job, attract sophisticated chicks, ... I would get the 335 no question.

Get one via Euro delivery and you will be well under your budget.

There are a lot of great cars out there, BMW among them.
But if you're looking to save a few bucks -- which would be my advice, at least until you can get you want and you won't feel the pinch -- I would look beyond the three you listed. RX-8? GTI?

your deciding between a 2 door sports car, and 2 SUV's. It depends what you want more. A sports car, or an SUV

thats the thing, i love jeeps... but after finding this forum and seeing what u guys have actually done to ur e90-e92s.. it just makes me think i would love this car..... myself I can't keep anything stock, the aftermarket parts for this car are just amazing... the body kits avaliable are amazing too... and the prices are perfect!!

Duke Dynamics CSL Silver post made me cream my pants... i visit that thread on a daily basis just to picture how beautiful this car can be made..... but at the same time i know i won't be able to lower the car coz of how bads roads are here in Kuwait.... so im stuck, if ppl here are like screw the range maintenence is crap, the srt8 is still an AMERICAN car, and nothing will ever ever take me away from my bmw, then I'm down with getting one...

The only other problem I have with the 3er instead of it being a coupe and not a jeep is the fact the dealership over here sucks ass... literally..... and when i buy my car i don't wanna buy something ill regret...

it took my bro one year to buy the range, he initially wanted a g class, but that was outta the price range, so he settled for the range.. it still gets as much respect on the road as the G and he told me now he's happy he never got the G.....

I bet if you list the same post on a jeep forum, 99 percent will say to pick the jeep, and if you post it in the Range Rover forum, 99 percent will say pick the Rover. You posted it in the bmw forum, and 100 percent will tell you to pick the bmw. I on the other hand will give you an unbiased opinion... go with the bmw.

My roomate has a range rover sport and it's nice and everything, but it's slow as hell. Even the supercharged range rover ain't that quick. It's major floss factor though.

That A5 is gorgeous, but nothing drives like a 3.
