Help needed

Hi is any one in or near the north east that could fit a performance steering wheel for me??? Think it will possibly need coding to the car also... I don't mind a little travel to be able to get it fitted Thanks

FYI I had the version 1 and it did not need coding, the wiring on the other hand I think is best left to BMW!

Changing the wheel is ok but I think it will be electrics that I will be stuck with

You just have to swap the rotary unit once the wheel is off , it's only 3 torx 30 screws and shouldn't require any coding!

The hard part is getting the airbag out .........not sure if a reset later is required.

No airbag reset required as long as you make sure ignition is off the whole time.The latest models need coded but older stuff is plug and go.
