Digital speedo is normally 100% accurate. Analog is minus 3% to 5% less. When you configure the digital speedo you get to choose which speed to show, the dial speed or the real speed. Most people choose the real speed to get closer to v actual.
Reason is that it is illegal in Germany for a dealer to sell a car that indicates a speed less than actual so most German cars under-read compared to wheel rotation and assumed wheel size. That is to allow for different tyre options.
