Got 2008 335i Sedan for $3,270 off MSRP!!!
Props to Coast BMW in San Luis Obispo. For the following car:
2008 BMW 335i Jet Black Black Leatherette Automatic w/Paddle Shifters Sport Package Navigation Heated Seats Floor mats For a car with an MSRP of $45,500, they gave me a quote of $42,230 before TTL, and $45,907.84 OTD. They undercut the next best quote I received by almost $1,000! I confirmed this with Scott Boulanger, the internet manager, who even though is not my CA was nice enough to let me know how great a deal it is. He said bottom line, they are just trying to move cars. The deposit check is in the mail, and I'll be joining you guys in a little over 2 months! Can't wait!! |

In person I have been told no discounts, but when dealing over the internet, I have received price quotes up to $1500 off MSRP. Seems dealing over the internet is the way to go Dave |

What is the tax rate in CA? I only paid $3220.50 TTL on a $50,350 335 sedan. Your tax rate must be thru the roof. With PA's tax rate that car OTD would be $44863.30.

Damn, $3270 off msrp??? They wouldn't budge on mine. Maybe the demand is less for these cars now or BMW is trying to win more magazine comparisons. Either way sounds like you got a great deal enjoy!!

This probably goes without saying, but let them all know that's what you're doing. I simply told them I was checking every dealer in a 100 miles radius and I would take the lowest offer. That really got the ball rolling until one dealer finally did $475 over invoice.
