Steering Wheel and PS Fluid
(2010 e90) So my PS fluid is a little low(a tad below the min. line). I'm hearing the faint whine noise. Top it up I should be fine. Correct?
But another problem is, when I turn the wheel left and right it sounds like it is scraping plastic on plastic at the steering wheel. I've moved the column up and down. No change. I'm just confused Would these 2 problems be related? Any help would be nice. Thanks.

Are you still under warranty? If so, go tot he dealer before it expires.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
