the alarm did go off and they got a call from the alarm company, but thought it was due to the wind because it was the night of the massive snow storm. i got my car tinted there a year back and they're okay people, i think some people didn't love em. i think it was 12k in damage

Guys a local vinyl shop/tint shop was robbed and tons of stuff was stolen. Lots of rolls of vinyl, tons of car parts from a genesis coupe, tools, and cash. The shop was in West Babylon. The guys do awesome work, and they're good people.

The following is a list of what was stolen, this was copied directly from the shop owners post on Facebook:

"RB26 engine w/ primer gray valve cover. It was tore down so there is no manifolds or hoses just bare block with primerd top.
Precision 6262 turbo the front housing is missing as we sent that out for polish. So they got half a turbo

TWM titanium shift knob
Passenger side mirror
4 HID KITS
The Ksport operating remote for air suspension ($850 to replace)
$1000 in cash
They stole vinyl supplies. 7 different rolls valued at over $500 a piece.
A lot of snap on tools are gone but insurance is replacing them."

If any of you guys see some of this stuff for sale, or know of vinyl shops on the island or the boroughs that seem suspicious, let me know. The person/people who stole the stuff are definitely in the car scene and have a shop that will use all this stuff.

I'm in no way affiliated with the shop, I'm just trying to spread the word and help them out because this is something no one should have to go through.

Sorry for the loss... I hope they had insurance? The likelihood of the thieves being caught is probably next to nothing However, if it's a grudge... I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again to them sometime soon?? Hope they bone up on security. Maybe get some attack geese (They can fly, dogs can't)?
