Smile Reason(s) why you chose to buy a *NEW* bimmer?

My reason is that my old Honda Civic is starting to make transmission noises. I have about 147k miles on that sucka, and it has treated me very well but now it is time to retire my old civic. I was really considering a G35 because it was cheaper and you get more bang for your buck but in the end and truly, it is not a BMW. I have friends that drive BMW's and they all say the love them and will never get any other car. I was sold.

I think popular consensus around here would NOT to get a G35. =)

I used to have an E46 and am in the process of finalizing my order this week for an E92.
I currently have a Pathfinder (which I love for the utility), but its time to come back to bmw.

Why a "bimmer?"....

#1) emotion....
#2) everything else......styling, handling, fit & finish,
the way it feels in corners, the sport seats, the engine growl.

I've looked at the infiniti g35 in the past, but I didn't like the brakes (too touchy).
While I'm sure that the G37 is a fine car...It just doesn't give me the "warm fuzzies" like a bmw.

About 7 years ago, I decided I wanted a convertible. The only car I did NOT want was a BMW. The stigma of the 1980's "Yuppie Mobile" bothered me. I tested the following convertibles: Mazda Miata, Audi A4, Volvo C70, Chevy Camaro, Toyota Solara, Mercedes CLK and SLK, and Honda S2000. Even though I really liked most of them, none stood out. My wife, who suggested numerous times to try the BMW 330, insisted I test drive one. Reluctantly I did. I will never buy anything else. My new one will be Euro Delivery in April of next year.

B/c i've had it with me '05 G35 too many in-cabin vibrations, tire roar, feeling every little crack in the tarmac and to tell you the truth the styling is getting really old. Im growing up now and need more refinement inside and better build quality on the outside. Im 29 so I need to step up a level. My 328 coupe is on the vessel heading this way all i have to do is write em' a check for 41K and off I go. Holla

New is better then old for obvious reasons. No one has driven it before you and adbused it.

My family sees it stupid to buy a used car when you can just ad another 10K on top of a used car and get a new one? It's a smarter choice, but BMWs never really use MUCH value.
