Difference between maintenance and extended powertrain.

Hello I have a few questions

Is it possible to just have the powertrain, idrive, nav, electrical with no maintenance? I can do all of the oil changes and and whatever else maintenece wise and would rather change my oil every 5-7500 miles.

When you buy the PT WARRANTY is that just associated with the powertrain and excludes dealer maintenance? Or does it include both?

Thanks

If seems a lot of people pay for extended maintenance because it's cheaper, but the don't cover the powertrain.
