Factory M Competition wheels on 335i
Looking to upgrade my basic factory wheels with the factory M Competitions in Matte Black, The fronts will fit with no problem, but the 10" in the back will come with some hurdles. From what I understand I will have to roll my fenders and stretch my tires. I've not heard of stretching tires? Has anyone ever put these exact wheels on this set up? Please comment, btw the wheels are black 359 wheels through BMW, 19". I also know Avant Garde makes a close replica but Id love to keep it in the factory family, plus a brembo kit will follow shortly.

It all depends on the offset. Usually M3 offsets are really aggressive on a non M 3 series... Depending on the width of the tire, you may have to roll the rear fenders. I ran a 10" in the back on my E92 335i, but the offset was factory and I ran a 255 wide tire. Certainly could have been space out about 15mm, but a fender roll would have been necessary. Also, the OEM wheels are much heavier than the VMR V703 and twice the price... Switching the the VMR and non RF tires will save you a lot of weight... Something like 7 pounds per corner.

I have oem 359's fit no problem. No fender roll on the rear. Do not need to have stretched tires. You can run 265/30 on the rear. |

Btw the black are the same size as the silver, just different color. Again no hurdles on the back.
It also depends on what car you are putting these on. E90 pre-lci>e92 pre lci>e90 lci>e92 lci better fitment starting with e90 pre lci. |
