Wondering what a "transmission reset" would do for an Alpina flash

As of late, the car has been holding onto revs unnecessarily it seems, even under low acceleration and speeds, and the D numbers are going all over the place and I'm not quite certain why.
Has anyone had experiences like this with their flash? No tachometer issues to speak of, just D1, then D3, D5, then down to D4, then D3 D2, and D1 when slowing down. Sounds like the damn car is in S mode constantly now, and I'm wearing out my shifter slapping it from S back to D mode to try to reset it when it has these "fits." Also what is that combination of gas pedal hold down etc. to "reset" the transmission even work in this case? I figured it couldn't hurt. Thanks in advance. |

I study health deeply. Most germs linger in the throat, ears and digestive tract. So zinc 50mg two times daily with vitamin C will kick some ass for you. Gargle the warmest salt water you can too. 4 tablespoons of baking soda and salt and that will greatly help.

1. Put key in the ignition. 2. Hit the start button once without holding the brake (Don't start car). 3. Press accelerator to the floor and hold it there for about 30 seconds. 4. Start car and drive off. I'll be curious to see what helps fix your issue...gas pedal reset or software reset. I've wanted this trans flash for a while, but keep putting it off because I want to take to Steve, but I'm outside Philly...tough to make the time. Sounds like it may be a good thing ??? Good luck.

Thank you Chris! Please, don't take my experience as the rule. There are thousands of Alpina trans flash folks out there who are working just fine, and I will be the first to tell you it really wakes up the car and makes you fall in love all over again.

If the onion burns your nose and eyes, it's working! It's highly toxic to virus and bacteria. Onions literally suck germs out of the air and get into your nose, eyes and throat and burn and kill germs.

Put onions at least slices per room. Bedroom I like to use 3. I actually enjoy cutting them and inhaling the fresh onion. It makes my throat water and nose drain. It's amazing what it can do. Lemon is also good.
