you got me thinking had I left the head lights on & couldn't even remember which side the xenons were even on. Anyway, had a look tonight & the 8500 thunders dont fill the light in as much as the photo's suggest.

Some of the photos look like the centre portion of the smaller angel eye is lit up. If you look at how the bulb is mounted, there's nothing to stop it shining light straight out the front of the car. The replacement bulb I used had grey paint that meant light only came out the sides of the bulb and into the light pipes leading to the angel eyes. Not sure if this is standard for H8 bulbs or if it's a BMW specific thing.

EDIT: A quick search shows that all H8 bulbs have the painted top. Must have just been the camera angle or lighting in the pics.

I ordered mine on the 25/9/11 and as of yet, have still not received them. The online tracking states that they were processed on 26/9/11 but no updates since then.

13 days. I questioned the time and was told that 10-14 days was standard post. I left good feedback, but commented on the long delivery time.

My only concern with the H8 bulbs GP Thunder 8500k is that in the pics they dont seem to illuminate the outer ring.

Has anyone had these LED from ssdd? do you think they will cause any dash lights or radio probs?

They're probably the same lamp, and even if they're not, there's not going to be a lot in it.

Just fitted the MTEC 4750K's - took literally two mins (luckily I don't have huge hands) - they look great, and much whiter than the standard ones! I'll get some pics at some point this weekend.
