How do I take off the vent hose....
I was doing my valve cover change, and when I was trying to take off the vent hose, I tried many ways to take it off but eventually break it...
can anyone tell me what is the correct way to take it off? Thanks Number 9 in the pic |

Somebody in one of the threads made a tool with 4 flathead screwdrivers bound together by a rubber band.
I think most people just break it off and replace with new. Was your hose caked in oil on the inside?

i just replaced mine since my car has 105k miles on it, but I took my vent hose out by using four thin screwdrivers (one on each side) and carefully pry up on the sides and pull out.

Bottom and top is where you compress and pull off.
