Got rid of it.

So yesterday after getting my car back from the body shop I had discovered that the clear coat was starting to peel all over the car. It was visible on the C pillars and coming off in chunks. The car apparently has been in an accident previously to me wrecking it and the whole thing was repainted. The repaint was absolute garbage. My car had 46,xxx miles on it. I decided it was time to let it go so I sold it to carmax and ended up getting 21k for it. Bmw dealer offered me 18.. lol.

I ended up purchasing a 2011 x5 diesel

Its got the active seats which massage your butt while you drive lol.. its kind of weird feeling, I might get used to it. I do like how the car gives me greater visibility and room inside the cabin. Its a CPO too.. it has 40k miles and good to 100k.

Looking at it objectively, its the same engine that's moving 5200# instead of 3800#, but using an awd drivetrain. I do have to say that launching this thing is a lot of fun because you have total traction, but its definitely not as fast as you get moving. I might try the flashy flash. I do have to drop it off at the dealer on wed for a couple interior things lol.

I'll post a couple pics soon. Its pretty sweet.. its vermillion red

RENNtech it Joe and you will see the gains and ALSO add a WAGNER IC then you will be pumping what Im pumping out 318 whp and 425 wtq!!!

Hah.. well ecotune was enough for me and it was way cheaper too.
I wouldnt add the ic.. I never did it on my sedan and it had plenty of pep.
Its all about $/hp... with the tune its definitely worth it.

yes it was low because the whole car was painted previously and the clearcoat was starting to peel... if it had the factory paint and no wrecks it would have fetched at least 5k more I would think.
