it states all 3 series 2010-2012 production it doesnt clearly include Diesels thats what we need to find out

Yeah, it indicates a bolt in the variable camshaft housing. Variable camshafts didn't make it to the diesels until the n57, so m57 not included. N57 probably also excluded since the housing is probably not the same housing.
