I believe they are a dealer item only, thats what ecp told me anyway. I got mine for £20 but mines a 2005 model. There has been an update on the relay, old one was green, new one is blue or the other way round (can't remember).
Hope this helps.

if you can pull the relay and get to an electrical factors (RS componants) then its possible they will have one. I highly doubt any car manufacturer would go to the trouble of designing and manufacturing a relay when there is one for every job already out there.

What issue are you having with your wipers? Mine arnt reseating correctly and im thinking relay is a possible culprit.

I ended up going directly to bmw only charged me £13. No mine have ceased to work completely and I dont think its the relay but im going to try that then go from there, i have a feeling its the wiper stick thats faulty or has a loose connection which is sounding quite expensive

Do cars even have wiper relays these days? (in the conventional sense)

I doubt it, that would be far too simple, not something car manufacturers go for.

My wipers were not seating correctly either they bounced back up a little on return. Changing the relay fixed the problem.
