Urea fill up at the PUMP???
I have a few truck stops by me that you can fill your Urea tank at the pump, does anyone use this method, will it work on our cars, am I better of just buying it in gallons and filling it at home, thanks for any help...

our cars are not semis, our opening is big and might accommodate the nozzle but then inside the tube gets very small, I think it might only be like a quarter inch so as Yozh said, the rate of fill will be too fast and all you will do is sill and make a mess. I tried once fill up using the 1/4 tube (due to luck of that preferable bottle) and rate of flow was still pretty fast and I managed to make some mess.

I am approaching the 'maintenance on my dime' portion of ownership. My plan is to fill a container at the local Pilot and fill the tank from that.
Why waste the money for prepackaged fluid? |

I'll buy a gas-type can. I will probably try to get a yellow or blue 5-gal just to make sure it stays clean and avoid confusion. I can't remember the shelf life but don't plan to purchase more at a time than I anticipate using.
I already have two red ones. One for gas and one for diesel. The diesel one is always emptied directly into the tractor and no diesel is ever stored. Never found the 'official' yellow one for diesel when I needed it. And, I will transport it in my truck. I can't imagine spilling it in the car would be pleasant. |

If you buy:
You can then use the bulk to refill your 2.5 gal bottle. |
