oil catch can 330D LCI
Where would one insert an oil catch can on a 2009 330D LCI (N57 engine) , to reduce carbon/oil build up in inlet system (hoses / intercooler / inlet manifold / valves) ?
Ive had a look at the engine and on RealOEM but its not clear where one could put it.

I've little knowledge of BMW diesels, but I do have a catch tank on my DI petrol engine. You need to plumb the OCC in to the emission line that takes the crankcase fumes from the engine (and the EGR) to the intake side of the engine. So you trap the fumes and other gunk before it gets to the inlet manifold.
