misfire and smoke on startup
I started my car today and noticed a very rough idle, did not drive anywhere, then smoke coming from exhaust. The car was running fine last night, but now is idling rough and haven't driven it at all. Check engine light came on but nothing else.
What could this be? I've searched and it seems like the consensus is injectors. Would hpfp cause smoke? Anyway to know for sure before I throw money at it? JB4 map 5 and DCI. New plugs 2k miles ago. Turned off JB4, but still won't run right. Please help. I'm a novice compared to everyone on here. Thanks

You probably have an injector stuck open. Your exhaust probably smells like gas.

Need to test them first. Or start the car turn off while it is missing. Pull the plugs and see which ones are wet.
