Cross AVenue Auto (Oakville)
Would appreciate comments on Cross Avenue Auto. Spoke with "Sam", who appears set on providing only the best of the best service (ie, hates BMW Oil, and really pushes Liqui Moly "the only true Group 5 oil" @$150 per oil change). Also pushes for using massive amounts of fluid to flush tranny "until things run clear", at a cost of $1,000. (Dealer wants $300 tax incl to replace fluid).
Is this shop for real? Or it is a matter of Oakville overcharging on the assumption everyone that lives there has money to burn? |

I'd avoid them. Been there in the past, not the biggest fan to be honest.

I remember when I had my old E46, I called them for an inspection II because Sam was close to me work. He quoted me $750 when all indi shops were charging $500...he also said that it all depends on what my car needs...indicating that it will likely go up...seems like a nice guy, but very expensive and loyal to guys with CrossAvenue plate frames...needless to say, I moved on...

Thanks for the feedback - confirms what I suspected. Ended up going to Autobahn Logic on Fraser Dr in Burlington. So far, so good, but would really appreciate hearing from anyone else who has used them.
Did my front pads & sensors with oem, for $50 less than what Budd's quoted. Quick and easy. |
