WTB OEM Charge pipe + Diverters, Framingham area

Hey guys,

My turbo bearings are leaking and I'm burning oil. Spoke to my SA, and he is going to replace them under CPO

The catch is that the shop forman wants me to put the car back to "near stock".........

So at this stage I have everything I need except the damn OEM Charge pipe and diverter valves.

Anybody wanna help a brotha out? If you have one around but dont want to give it up I would even "rent" it. Put car back to stock, get turbos replaced and then put all my mods back on and return your charge-pipe.

Comments, suggestions, memos, post-its, and points of clarification from the community appreciated

-Mark

I have two questions for you sir. One how do you like the VRSF exhaust? I am looking at getting it and wondered if you felt any power increase by removing the cats on OEM exhaust. Also wondering what BMW shop you went to as I also have original turbos and about 20k left of warranty on them but I am about as stock as you are, haha

Hey man, I always go to Herb Chambers BMW Sudbury for dealer work. Chris H is my service advisor and is very reasonable with mods. For performance work I stick with Motive Auto in Woburn. Excellent shop if you want things done right with a high attention to detail.

Im on the fence on the VRSF exhaust to be honest. Loved it at first. It sounds great, very deep and smooth, but without cats ya it's loud, and it drones. Not overly droney but it does drone. I have had mine for a good 8000 miles on and it's gotten louder. It also hangs pretty low and doesn't fit with their own downpipes. (Flanges do not allign)

If I had to do it again I think I would go with the Cobb. I like the design with the single primary but if it had a resonator or better muffler I think it would be better sounding.

In terms of Power, I can't answer your question, since I put the DPs, exhaust, and chargepipe all at the same time then went and got tuned. Car made 440tq and 412 hp on Bren Tunings dyno just with 93.
