Need a tire?

My one tire has a big bubble and I want to wait it off till I can put on my winter tires. Anyone got a working condition 225/40/18? I'll pick up! Located Hamilton NJ

You should be fine with the bubble, have you tried to fully deflate the tire and after a long while refill it back up with air?

The bubble is just air trapped between the plys... While its not a good thing... Its also not the end of the world.

How did you manage to fix it... Just want to make sure you didn't do anything crazy to put yourself at risk?

Also i have a brand new 255/35/18 MPS A/S3 Y rated in my shed it probably has like 2000 miles on it (tire is rated for 45k miles). Make an offer.

Careful with using the winter tires "too early" winter tires don't work well in warm temps and/or in the rain. Usually you toss on winter tires in late Nov. Give yourself more braking distance with the winter tires.

Agreed... this is a bad idea to use winter tires now and it's also a waste of perfectly good winter tread! Your going to do yourself a favor by saving the winters for actual winter time.
