R8 spotted in Htown

2 weeks ago, at 4 pm I saw an audi R8 (I think). It was behind me by 6 cars length and I took a detour before the audi could get closer to me. Any how, the front lights were on and it look like and L shape from each corner. I have never seen anything like that before. That was the only lights on and I think it looks out of this world (at that moment in plain day light sky). It makes my angle eyes looks so tamed

Has anyone seen one on the road in their town?

None yet here in D. There is a 2 year wait at both Audi stores I called. The mark up is supposed to be 50k....

could have been an s5? don't they ahve similar "L" headlights? if not than wow rare spotting.

My brother's neighbor parks next to him with a sick nasty R8.

I've seen a white one running around. Nothing like a $50k markup on a underpowered car. Thank god they are putting the Gallardo V10 in it next year.

I saw one the other night pulling into the grove parking lot. I was a traffic light away but I knew what I saw when those tail lights lit up....sooo damn hot

Ok, someone hit me, i feel so embarrassed. As i said, I had to detour and I never got a chance to confirm what it was but only saw the headlights and part of the front and I knew it was an audi. I am very sure it is not an R8 now that you mention the S5 has a similar lights.

We had one at our audi dealership. SICK looking car and its a lot smaller in person. The interior is awesome but for that money I would take a couple other cars (GT3 RS for one)

The guy that owns www.discountelectronics.com lives here in Austin, TX and has an R8 that he drives to his store some days. He also has a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo and some other high-end cars.
