Is swapping my catless DP out every year my old option?
I'm running a berk catless DP and need an inspection. Is swapping my catless with the oem the only option for passing?
I have searched a lot and found things like mini cats u put between the DP and sensor but I can't find anyone who's done it and reported on inspection. If I do have to swap my oem DP back in do I need new gaskets?? Do I need two sets of new gaskets? One set for oem DP and inspection and the other set for when I put the catless DP back on after? Thanks in advance Rob

I swap mine every time; it's a real pain in the ass. Don't think any of the other options have worked for very long.
Instead of replacing gaskets every time, I just use this orange sealant (forgot what it's called). It's like making a rubber gasket every time. |

You could find a shop that will pass you. Join some of the local clubs in DFW and ask around.

Do they do a sniffer test or read the OBD codes in TX? Here they just do a "visual inspection" so if you just have something that looks like a cat they'll pass it.

In Texas they only hook it up to computer. Two of my sensors read not ready so can't pass.
I can't believe there isn't a better option than switching it out each time. Do u do it urself??? Pita! I ain't got no time for that!
