Thumbs up OFFICIAL:: (91 Octane) - 1/4 - Dyno - 0-60 etc....

Im sick and tired of people posting numbers of any sort (1/4, 0-60, dynos) with different octane numbers.
Its all bullshit, becasue most of us are on 91 octane most of the time right? So I rarly think people would change to 106 to 91 or 117 to 93 octance, Its all unessecary for everyday.

I wanted to start a thread of TUNINGS done with only 91 OCTANE.

I would appreciate this and it would be a good refferene to members would want to know numbers for their cars on 91 octance, since thats the only octanve most people are on. Thank you

Vendors, sponsers, etc... please feel free to post numbers. I will UPDATE every post with dumbers relating to 91 octane only.

Wow.. sorry to tell you this but.. us here on the east coast we use 93. You poor 91 octane californians are a minority in the country. You sincerely think 91 octane is what most people are on?

My mistake, SoCal is mostly that way.

Well sure... but its like Shiv saying he's sick and tired of seeing JBS2 numbers because most people don't run it... or I'm sick and tired of people posting numbers with aftermarket exhaust systems because most don't have one.

I think its fine as long as all the information is released regarding what mods and octane you're running. Its up to us to sort through that data.

New Mexico (5200ft altitude) is mostly 90 octane premium with occasional 91 octane. Octane boosters sounds like only solution here.

If you want the information so badly, go out and get it. Take your car to a dyno...take it to a drag strip...It's really not that hard.

Me too. He is right, though, in that some real world numbers would be nice. It's great that Shiv got 400rwhp on race gas and yada yada, but a table would be great that broke down horsepower numbers with octane numbers on the y-axis and mods listed across the x. That way, you could look and say, "well I run 93 octane, and want to just get a PROcede, so I expect XXXX horsepower." The next guy who runs 91, but wants a PROcede and exhaust could go look at another cell in the table and know what to expect. The guy who wants to run 95 with a PROcede, downpipe, and exhaust, etc.

This data should really come from the tuners, but I understand this costs time and money. I'd think that the expense would be more than made up for in increased sales, because there are so many people sitting on the fence because they don't know exactly what to expect given their particular setup.
