Help with hfs4 w jb4
Any help from guys/gals running this setup would be appreciated.
I've read through numerous install threads but cannot find clarity. I will be installing the HFS-4 V2 kit, and integrating the kit with my JB4 using the BMS FSB. Is soldering of the circuit board still required if I will be feeding the AM 0-5v flow signal into pin #15 on the JB4 and setting up the JB4 per the BMS meth guide? Also, to be clear, the wire that needs to be fed to the jb4 pin #15 location, is the yellow wire coming from the green (user connection on hfs4 box) ? |

I would not use the FSB, you can integrate via HFS-4 or your can use HFS-4 as standalone since it sprays off IDC.

Also if I integrate it to the jb4, is all the soldering on the diagram above required? Appreciate your response big time. Thanks. |

Did you make any changes to the underside of the board? I think I'm just going to run it as a standalone kit for the time being. Might eventually integrate it to the jb4, but not sure how to do it at this point in time. In theory, can I crimp into the jb4 wires instead of crimping into the ecu wires? |

I like the FAV as close to the nozzle as possible for faster response.

That looks like the perfect setup. I'm going to work on getting it closer. Still don't have kit running yet. Have ran all wires, installed all fittings, tank, pump, etc. just need to tap into the ecu. What style crimpers did you use. I think the ecu cables are 16 or 18 gauge if I remember correctly. |
