Thanks for posting. Didn't realize walnut blasting made such a difference regaining power throughout the entire rpm range

Great data! I daily drive both cars and the sci and dci make more turbo spool sound. To me it's well worth it. Turbo spool is an intoxicating sound. commute is more enjoyable.
Add a v8 rumble and it's best of everything...= venom gt $1m

I cant "vouche" for how safe it is cause it would be something I would not do myself....I think...lol. I can only say based on another person's success, looking at his logs, he had no issues and his wgdc stayed more closed as apposed to a DCI setup, and the car performed phenominally well.

Whereas for the 2+ maps, it's Required. . . @maperformance - why didn't you address BuraQ's great post addressed to your testing methods? (#18) |

I find the opposite of Bura regarding DCIs.
The below graph shows the difference between stock air box with stock paper filter, the stock air box with no filter element and the Injen dual cone intake. This was done on my 2010 535iXdrive equipped with stock downpipes and stock intercooler. Fuel is E50. This was done using Virtual Dyno, meaning out in the real World on the road where I have real airflow. All runs were done back-to-back-to-back within an hour of each other on the same exact piece of road in the exact same ambient conditions. I saw even better results on my E90 335i with a BMS DCI. |
