Well, after more research (and lack of patience), I decided for now to go with the JBD tuner and a meth kit (mostly, to try and limit CBU issues). Possibly an EGR block off as well, if I can get my hands on a kit to do so.

My thought process is that the JR tune doesn't look like it has the ability to "flash through the OBD port feature" quite ready yet, and I really want the ability to re-flash the ECU if needed, without shipping it to Canada every time a change may be needed. So I guess until that is worked out, I will go with the JBD + Meth.

I installed the JBD today, cranked it up to 100%, and I love it

Still trying to decide on a meth kit... but should have that figured out soon.
