Euro Rear View Mirrors
Did anyone try this mod yet?
If you don't know, the Euro mirrors' outer section acts as a convex lens that eliminates the blind spot of traditional rear view mirrors. I had them on my previous car (a Mercedes). These are the P/Ns 51167144303 / 51167144304

since they are chromatic (auto-dimming), brand new glass is a little over 200 a piece! (realoem.com pricing)

I have tried ordering this part from my bmw dealer's parts department, as well as online. Both time they told me that the part has been discontinued. The part# I asked for was:
MIRROR GLAS, HEATED, WIDE-ANGLE, LEFT 1 51167145267 $83.98 I found only the left mirror having the wide angle is sufficient in most cases. Where did you get your part# from? |

US Dealers don't have the ability to order this part. So, I'm waiting for the E90 M3 Sedan one to become available and do a full swap
