Which turbo option did you go with? Your E93 automatic?
I got the last spot according to Tony. I'm psyched to get them. Our cars are pigs but with that much HP they will be pretty dam fast pigs.

NOOOO... lol i always wanted to have the fastest e93
but i would have had them if my trans didn't blow. so i just spent all my car money on the rear end and transmission... and i had just got a set of RB's before i blew the auto trans. but hopefully before the summer i should have a set if business is well if your going VTT3 make sure your rear end can handle it. the alpina flash for the trans at the very least.

What type of upgrades did you go with? Definitely will be doing the alpina flash. I have the m3 bushings and sway bar gathering dust. Waiting to get LSD before installing everything.

I would seriously recommend not messing with any of the retractable hardtop components. You will regret it, lol. Since the trunk lid is actually part of the rear module, the adjustment is pretty critical and can be a serious bitch to get dialed in.

I'd also think that whatever you'd gain from the weight loss could be offset by the fact that you'll probably create extra drag by turning your E93 into an El Camino. Just a thought....

I agree with the first bit, those mechanisms in that hard top make even the best mechanics quiver. It's like a Rubik cube on crack.

Also some tracks won't let you run at the drag strip unless the top is up.

I'll tell you now from experience, DO NOT TAKE APART THE TOP...ended up costing me $567 from the dealer to align and reprogram the damn thing. And if you want to reseal the whole top it's $3k

@sammy_0559 any time slips? you might be the ONLY other e93 i know with upgraded turbos.

you said you blew the auto trans, did it feel like something goes horribly wrong on 2nd gear launches like car goes into neutral, wheel hop, just chaos?
I did the alpine flash and a 0-60 test and car did just great today but running a 91oct map. logs are looking good.

@jackass1 can you weigh your stock trunk, i am really thinking of going with that badass vorsteiner one you have.
